Scooby would be a perfect candidate for a remake of Grumpy Old Men! While we don't know his exact age, we feel he is around 6-8 years old. He is a mix of sweet and salty; he loves to be on the sofa with you but when you pick him up to put him on the sofa, he makes a groaning sound. He enjoys being held, but he makes a low guttural growl when doing so. It's like he enjoys being held and loved on, but he is learning to accept nice touch. Scooby was at the shelter as a stray and was never claimed. He really is a wonderful boy! He is learning housetraining, how to climb the doggie stairs up and down from the sofa, and we are working on his skin where he has some irritation, either from stress or allergies. He gets along well with other dogs, ignores cats, and does well with children who are respectful of his boundaries.
