Abbey is a wonderful girl who is full of love, curiosity, playfulness, and cuddles! She is a young cat who get pregnant, ended up in a shelter, and was brought into the rescue immediately after her babies were born. (We tried to get her while still pregnant but she went into labor the night before we were able to get her; babies come when they want to come!) She did an amazing job as a mama, but she's so young herself that she is practically a kitten! Abbey is sweet and curious, and loves to explore. She has beautiful markings and gorgeous eyes. She is known to wander around for a bit, checking things out, but always comes back to a familiar lap for cuddles and love. She is very affectionate and did well with the dog in her foster home, curling up next to her foster's dog in bed (for a higher energy dog, we would recommend slowly introducing her so she can acclimate). She wiggles her butt when about to pounce, and is a wonderful little girl who would make a wonderful companion. If you'd like to meet this sweet girl, she is currently at the PetSmart on Hanes Mill Road in Winston Salem. She particularly seems to enjoy the wand toys they have if you'd like to spend a little time with her, and maybe you'll fall in love with her!
