Sheldon needs a special person to help him find a home. 

Everyone, meet Sheldon. Sheldon is a very cute dog, but he has some behavioral challenges. We are going to be really real with what he needs and we are hoping to find a match. 

Here is the Sheldon Forever Parent Needs List:

1. Allow Sheldon to come to your home, and be left there for the meet and greet and for a foster to adopt situation. This is due to the fact that he has some protection of his current home and foster parent.
2. Give Sheldon space. Don’t expect to make physical connection at all for a few days. He may jump in your lap, it make take a few weeks. Once he bonds, it will be permanent. 
3. Once he bonds, he may nip others that try to enter your space. Be committed to working with him, as well as providing a space where he can go safely when guests come over so that he doesn’t pose a problem. He will need preemptive parents.
4.  No kids (unless above can be followed if they visit in small spurts). 
5. Be patient. So so so patient. This will be a dog you earn, and because of that we will do a reduced adoption fee for someone who can do a foster to adopt and give him this chance for his very own home.
