“Tasha is an 11 years young border collie mix. She howls a little when she barks so it sounds like there could be some hound in there too. :) She only barks when she hears other dogs in the neighborhood. She’s pretty quiet. She’s a good eater and loves to see what you have on your plate. When it’s time for dinner her nose goes in the air and she walks around the kitchen sniffing the air. She will literally jump on your lap if you let her so we don’t feed her from the table. ? She’s very affectionate and is excited to see everyone when they come home. I have left her uncrated in the house for an hour and she did well! She sleeps quietly in her crate at night. She loves toys and chew bones and loves my kids, ages 12, 9, and 6. She likes to play with our cat. She would love it if he’d run and she could follow him but he’s pretty lazy. She doesn’t love car rides but we crate her and she feels safer that way. No thunderstorm phobias so that’s good. Our other dog is a nervous wreck but it didn’t seem to bother her. She likes to be with her people or with another dog/cat to keep her company. She does have some trouble walking on the hardwoods, but if she can get regular nail trims it helps a lot. She loves going for walks and doesn’t pull. “
