Maddie was surrendered to the shelter because the owner didn't have time for her. That was definitely apparent as this was dirty and covered in fleas. She was so afraid and cowering in the back of her kennel. Her eyes told me all I needed to know, she needed help. She was very frightened of me at first but quickly realized I was there to help. Since getting her she has become my shadow. She follows me wherever I go and then lays at my feet. She is housebroken and very well mannered. She is still a work in progress but has quickly come around. She is playful and gentle. She is still skiddish but with time and patience I believe she will be a wonderful companion.
