Zoey was so afraid at the shelter that she hid at the very back of her kennel. She was shaking and tail tucked under. We were told she was next on the euthanasia list because of her fear. As I kneeled down to her kennel, I spoke softly to her. I offered my hand and she slowly edged her way towards me and offered a small lick. I said, she's coming with us. You would not believe how quickly she came to life when she jumped in my car. She knew! She laid her head on my shoulder and gave me gentle kisses as I drove away. She is great with dogs, cats and sweet as can be. She is laid back and loves all the toys we have...she has a hard time choosing. She knows sit and stay and also go pen. She sleeps great in her crate at night. She LOVES to snuggle and gives great kisses. Extremely submissive. She has the cutest face that is hard to capture in pictures. She follows me everywhere I go and loves to play. The great thing about Zoey is that is a very low key girl. I just love her. This girl was truly a gem waiting to be found.
