Bella was born with deformed back legs but she gets around very well and accommodates nicely! She was a "discount" dog from a breeder at age 4. She runs and plays like any dog, but she does it in her own unique way. She does not typically jump up on the sofa on her own, and would probably benefit from a set of pet stairs to get up and down. She has been spayed and up to date on vaccines, and current on her heartworm preventative. She takes glucosamine daily to help with her joints.

Bella loves older kids and other dogs and cats. She does best with dogs who don't try to jump on her. We recommend a home with no stairs and floors with some carpeting to help her with traction. Please note Bella is a SPECIAL NEEDS DOG. She was born with deformed hip joints and can not always control her back legs. She will likely have issues with her hind legs as she ages. She may need at some time in Her life a wheel cart to help her get around. She is very affectionate but is not a fan of being picked up because of her back leg issues. Bella has been adopted twice so applicants who are willing to take on her special needs and make the center of their whole need apply.
