Dahlia is a "wobbly" cat, born with a mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia. Her wobble is noticeable but it doesn't seem to bother her at all. She moves around like any cat, but is a bit nervous and timid with people. She has begun to learn to trust humans, but may always be a little shy with new people. She does well with another cat (especially Oreo, another kitty we have for adoption!) as that seems to help her to be brave. She and Oreo make a great pair and get along really well. Dahlia loves to lounge on the bed when humans are around and is starting to get more curious. She isn't quite receptive to pets yet, but has become more brave and will sniff her foster's hands briefly, if Oreo is with her. She needs a home that will be patient with her and allow her to blossom. Dahlia would really love a home with no children, and no dogs, but would love a feline companion!
Cerebellar hypoplasia has no cure, and is a lifelong condition... however, many cats live with much more severe cases and live happy, fulfilled lives!
