Miss Iris is an absolute treasure. If I wasn't already at max capacity I would keep her in a heartbeat. She is completely blind, but fearless. She loves dogs and tolerates other cats. She is extremely friendly and loves humans. She is completely litter box trained, and knows how to use it well. and is prone to bladder stones (had major surgery to remove one). She requires a special urinary diet for life. She also has a vertical nystagmus which causes her eyes to move up and down involuntarily. But, since she's blind, it doesn't really bother her. As a kitten, she was cruelly thrown from a moving car and struck a stop sign, causing her to go blind for life.

However, that doesn't get her down or stop her from doing what she wants. She is a sassy and chatty letting you know when she wants you or is hungry. She manages to maneuver through a tri-level house and jumps on the bed/couch as she pleases. She is relatively low maintenance, but needs to go to a well-experienced cat owner.

When you adopt, your new fur baby will come completely vetted with the following:

Microchip

Age/Health Appropriate Vaccinations

Heart worm test (for dogs)

Fiv/FeLV tested (for cats)

Parvo test (for dogs)
