"Bonjour, please allow me to introduce myself. Je suis Monsieur Jonas, et je suis très mignon! That means 'I am Mr. Jonas and I am very cute!' Because… have you seen me? Fluffy ears, chocolate brown eyes, the sweetest little face, and an underbite! Checked off all your boxes, didn't I?! That's what I thought. I think it's finally time to talk about myself because I know there is a forever home out there for me! So here's my story…
I was found as a stray in Guilford County, matted and starving and dirty. They asked this woman if she would want to foster me, and I reminded her of a dog she used to love, so she said yes! Unfortunately I had kennel cough so I had to be separated from the other dogs in my foster home while I got better. Now that I'm feeling better, I get to spend time with the other pups and it is really helping my confidence! I just have to be cleared for a couple weeks of kennel cough before I can be neutered, since I had to be on antibiotics for my kennel cough. I am very submissive with humans and other dogs. I can be a bit anxious and I need a home that will be patient with me and help me to gain more confidence, but being around the other dogs has really helped so I'd love to be adopted into a home with another dog! I'm a little clingy, so a home where I'm allowed to learn to be confident on my own but also get good snuggles would be a perfect fit for me!
I LOVE TV!!! I get really invested in what's on the screen, so I might put up a fuss if you change the channel! I am really curious about everything that goes on around me right now. My foster Mommy thinks I probably haven't ever been truly a family member, and maybe I was used for breeding. I try not to think about my past, just looking forward now! If you think I might be a good fit for your family, please fill out an application! Please remember the rule of 3s for shelter dogs… 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn the routine, and 3 months to feel at home!" - Jonas
