*Update* Butters is now a hospice foster with us at STFFAR. He went in for his vet visit and has an enlarged heart. We know he loves big, but this is not that kind of big heart. We could lose him at any time and his medical expenses are still up in the air for what he will need as a hospice foster. Sweet Butters was adopted in 2008 from a animal shelter.  After 11 years the family decided they no longer wanted him.  He was surrendered to that same shelter.  He is very over weight which means he never went hungry but did not maintain a healthy lifestyle.  His nails were horribly long and he needed a bath desperately.  This poor boy is so confused and sad right now because he doesnt  understand what has happened to him.  He is currently getting lots of TLC from his foster mom and has been put on a healthy weightloss diet.  This fellow just wants to be in his humans lap.  He gets along great with cats and dogs and doesnt have a mean bone in his chubby little body.  If interested in adopting Butters please visit our website and complete our online application at stffar.org
