Phoebe is a sweet, gentle girl with a side of sass. She is very social and loves greeting people when she is out & about. At home she is content to lounge around, eat and look out the window. She sleeps in her crate and often naps there in the afternoon.
Since joining STFFAR Phoebe has discovered a love for adventures. If there is a place to go, Phoebe is ready. She loves walking in the greenway, hiking in the woods, sitting in a park and people watching - anything outside. She has started going to more urban destinations - North Hills, 5-Points - but is still a little nervous around a lot of noise.
Phoebe loves most other dogs, especially those her size. She is a little selective with larger dogs and boys who want to sniff her. As a true hound she has some prey drive and probably would not do well with cats or other small animals. She likes kids but sometimes forgets her own strength - kids 10 & over would be perfect.
Most of all Phoebe would love to find her forever partner in endless adventures and maybe learn some scent work to keep her busy!
