Daisy was found one evening by some kids in the neighborhood. She was curled up in a ball, and unable to walk. The little girl must have been homeless for quite some time, and had a stomach infection and was severely underweight. She is now building her strength and getting well... and turning into a very happy and playful puppy. Daisy loves her stuffed animals and tennis balls, and gets along well with other dogs. She also enjoys kids, and wants to be near them if she hears them playing. Little Daisy is learning how to walk on a leash. At night she likes to sleep in her crate, where she feels safe. During the day, she alternates between being outside and in her playpen. She does get anxious if she is left alone in her playpen and can't see someone. Daisy is a 30 lb, 9 month old hound mix, and so she does have the hound bark, and uses it when she gets excited. She is a loving, playful, happy puppy who would be well suited for a home with kids or energetic dogs or a big enclosed back yard, or just someone who likes to get out and take a run with her. She is a little blessing. To apply for Daisy please visit our website and submit your application at Stffar.org
