Tate stole my heart the moment I rescued him. He stole many of the shelter workers heart because literally loves everyone he meets. He walks fantastic on lead, has great recall, learns new tricks quickly. He is a pleaser and wants to please me. If he gets scolded for puppy behavior such as chewing his bed or counter surfing for some hamburger buns, he immediately knows he has disappointed me and shows sorrow. He is house and crate trained and very calm. He is not yet 2 years old so he still likes to chew but other than that he’s perfect. He does great with other dogs but does best with bigger dogs that are alpha, he listens well. He is interested in playing with the cats but I have not full on trusted him with my cats. He gets a bit rambunctious with them. He is great with kids because he loves all humans. The reason why he wasn’t adopted at the shelter is because he is heartworm positive. He is currently undergoing treatment for that. Otherwise he is a healthy beautiful sweet pup who is going make someone a fantastic and faithful pet.
