Are you willing to foster an animal with behavioral problems who may require special training? An animal with behavior issues may have been so abused that he/she has serious trust issues and exhibits defensive behavior; he/she may have been left alone for long periods of time and now becomes anxious when his person is absent; he/she may have been starving and is protective of his/her food. We are extremely careful to place rescued animals with behavior issues into experienced homes, with families or individuals prepared to work with them. We are always here for support and advice, and together we hope to help those special rescues overcome their battles to emerge as loving pets.*

Are you willing to foster an animal with special needs? Special needs can be as simple as a need for daily eye drops, or as complex as blood sugar testing and daily insulin injections. A special needs foster animal may be missing a limb, or an eye, or be on prescription diet or on medication for thyroid or cardiac issues. Regardless the circumstances, these animals are still fully able to receive and give unconditional love.*
